Wesley Parish was born in Papua New Guinea, and has moved between Papua New Guinea, Australia and New Zealand from an early age, though he now seems to have settled in New Zealand for good. He grew up bilingual in English and Tok Pisin, and has had a lasting fascination with language and languages.
Wesley
is a writer of sorts, an aspiring musician and a computer geek. He occasionally says things that make sense, in spite of being a fan of such things as nonsense poetry, anagram and travesty generators.
(As for the photo you see on the right, it’s of a painting of Wesley done while sitting for an art class in 2008. This
is as much as he’s willing to expose
himself physically, saying, “I scare children, after all, and break mirrors.”)
